The badminton halls are fairly ok except for the stupidly placed bases for the net pillars that are bound to cause serious injuries if you fall on them, the air vents beneath the ceiling where your shuttlecocks (the "balls") can get stuck… But the By the way bar, ie. the restaurant in the complex, is great (albeit the prices are a bit too much "on the Prague level").

Very good place for lot of types of sport : badminton, beach volleyball, football bar and snacks

I'm giving three starts for two reasons. 1) Sometimes the communication with the staff it's not so easy, mostly because of the language barrier I'd say. 2) In order to book online you need to register only at the desk and you have to deposit 1000 czk until you decide to close the account. Other than that all fine, volleyball courts are very good also the facilities. You can find showers inside and outside lookers and everything else you might need.

Very busy place. Lots of activities to choose from, nice lockers, the whole place looks very modern, but for my taste a bit more crowded and pricey then it could be. Unfortunately, not only my opinion, my colleagues are not satisfied with squash court lighting being dim. On the other hand, outside surrounding volleyball courts are always in good condition, recently they have added even covered courts for all-year service. There is small window to get beer and refreshments during activity and you can also bring kids. They can have fun on playground. This place is perfectly located on a cycle path, so getting here is easy. Definitely better then by mass transport. That's a long ride and walk from stops. Coming here by car is good, you will always find a parking spot.

We had lunch at By The Way, a new place in Brno yesterday. Set in amongst beach volleyball courts & next to a well used bike path. The service was great, efficient & friendly (even with the language barrier). The meals were huge & delicious & very reasonably priced. Funky style & loved the Pulp Fiction murals. Well done guys, I hope you do really well👍
